The Bloomberg forum was a popular event for the media, researchers, and celebrities, either there or "in absentia". George Clooney's visage graced the montors and the cover of the latest Bloomberg magazine. Rumor had it that he was in Charlotte and was last seen jogging in the city park with actor Mathew McConaughey, last seen in something....There in person was Tyne Daly of "Cagney and Lacey" TV fame mostly. She smiled at us in between bites of an apple and small talk with friends. We last saw her portraying Maria Callas on stage at the Kennedy Center -- that was our "go to" line and then the waiters came around again with complimentary appetizers and drinks.... Also on hand was David Eisenhower, the grandson of President Dwight D. and a professor at the University of Pennsylvania. He's the one who married Julie Nixon, Richard's daughter.
