First Lady Michelle Obama is the big story today. She came into town last night and rehearsed her speech inside the hall. We are preparing to meet her, sometime around 10:30 tonight, somewhere in a bar or studio newsroom on the big screen. By then, about three dozen speakers will already have hit the podium and viewers should be well rested from snoozes. Our credentials do not get us into the delegate convention hall, so we must suffer the consequences of roaming around looking for the best place to enjoy the scene. Late night streetwalkers.
